Constantine Maroulis took some time out from foraging the swag halls of the Sundance Film Festival on Tuesday to catch up with RadarOnline.com.

In an exclusive interview the American Idol season 4 contestant jokes that he's in Sundance for "the free stuff!" Before going on to explain the real reason, he's there supporting the producers of his New York show, Rock of Ages, who have a couple of movies at the celeb filled festival in Park Slope, Utah.

Simon Cowell Saying Goodbye To American Idol

Maroulis tells RadarOnline.com that he believes it will be "tough to move on" for the American Idol after the departure of it's creator and star Simon Cowell. Saying he believes it should end this year and that Cowell is not replaceable.

And the new Broadway star has some words of wisdom for last season's runner up Adam Lambert. Telling RadarOnline.com that he believes Lambert's album "hasn't really caught on yet as the songs aren't really there". And that the out gay singer "needs to focus more on music and less on show" advising "less drama more hits".



Indie festivals are SUPPOSE to be where nobody's meet producers.

He was the grand marshal at the greek parade in NYC. I liked him on Idol. I loved his eye contact with the camera. He kinda excites me but also creeps me out too. Can;t explain.........

Why should so called A listers need to be present at an independant film festival?

I guess it would have been way cooler with Tom Cruise there.

This is why no A-list celebs go to Sundance anymore. It has turned into nothing but a place for C & D-list wannabes to go and corral free swag. It's a shame how this festival has been ruined.
