Lately, Lindsay Lohan has been tweeting about helping the people of Haiti and about her documentary chronicling the trafficking of women in India.

But those close to the starlet fear she may be ignoring her most important cause: herself.

It was hard not to notice the fresh cut on Lindsay's arm as she headed into a pre-party for the Golden Globe Awards with her mom, Dina Lohan, at L.A.'s Chateau Marmont on Saturday night.

Now, a source tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that the photos are evidence of a girl still in desperate need of help.

"Why is Dina out partying with Lindsay when it's clear she's still cutting herself?" Lindsay's friend said. "Dina should be getting Lindsay help, not following her to parties."

RadarOnline.com first broke the story that Lindsay was harming herself late last year. Her dad, Michael Lohan, has been adamant about getting his daughter help for what he says are her many addictions-including one to prescription drugs.

No one can say Lindsay hasn't recently had her share of stress. The actress, along with most of Hollywood, mourned the tragic death of Brittany Murphy in late December. Just two weeks later, Lindsay's good friend and Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson was found dead in her L.A. home.

Photographers snapped Lindsay and her sister Ali Lohan, (who were in St. Barths at the time ringing in the new year) crying uncontrollably into their cell phones, presumably after hearing the news of Casey's death.
