Cori Rist, a woman who claims to have slept with married golf star Tiger Woods for more than two years, told the Today Show Monday she felt very sorry for golfer’s wife, Elin Nordegren.
“I’m just very sorry for her pain,” she said. “I hate that I’m a part of it. I feel like I have to take responsibility for the things I’ve done, and one day I’ll have to look my son in the face and explain all this ... so ... I’m very sorry.”

Rist said she knew Woods had a pregnant wife at home, but she says the golfer told her his marriage was shaky, and he was only staying with Nordegren to maintain his family man image.

Rist said she met Tiger when one of the golfer's associates approached her at a Manhattan club and invited her for a drink with Woods.

She said Woods was very affectionate towards her, even in mixed company, and was the one who decided to consummate the relationship.

"He led me by the hand, and we just kind of disappeared, and that was the start," she said.
Rist denied rumors she was a prostitute, escort or that Woods ever paid her, to the Today Show.
Woods' life began to unravel after a car accident that occurred the day after Thanksgiving, November 27, following an argument with Nordegren; it came on the heels of the National Enquirer's bombshell revelation Tiger had been having an affair with NYC party girl Rachel Uchitel. Since then, the world-famous golfer has been accused of affairs with more than a dozen women.

What a slimball Tiger is! God only knows how many more women are out there that are not talking. It's amazing that he was able to keep all these women on the string at one time along with his wife for so long!
