Danny Cahill was crowned The Biggest Loser Tuesday night, as the formerly-450-pound man shed more than half of his body weight -- 239 pounds -- during his golden stint on the eighth edition of NBC's weight loss competition.
Cahill, a 39-year-old land surveyor and musician from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, won $250,000 for his efforts.

He provided his fans with a celebratory Tweet following his televised victory: “Woo-Hoo!!!”

Runners up included Rudy Pauls, a Connecticut man who lost 234 pounds on the show, and New Jersey native Amanda Arlauskas, who shed 87 pounds.

Wow, now that is a great accomplishment! I hope he uses part of the money to get rid of the flabby chin. He really looks like another person and quite handsome too!

This is a wonderful REALITY show that inspires people and saves lives! Too bad the phonies can't just go away and make room for more good shows like this one. Dramatic changes thru hard work & diet
