The first trailer of Disney's highly-anticipated Alice In Wonderland hit the Web Wednesday, giving us a first peek into director Tim Burton's adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic.
As you'll see from the preview, the classic tale in film form has a darker, Gothic theme reminiscent of Burton's 90s masterpiece, The Nightmare Before Christmas, with top-notch special effects (We like the new Cheshire Cat, especially!).
Starring as Alice will be 19-year-old Australian beauty Mia Wasikowska, best known for her work on HBO's In Treatment.
The film hits theaters March 5, 2010.

I bet if there was a professional.. heck throw it though a video shop and auto adjust the contrast and it would look a thousand times better. Just watching it with the dim lighting makes my chest tense. I'd buy the movie if they fixed it

I mean such fantastic thoughts in make up and color are completely moot because it's like watching it in the dark. his hair could be shockingly real life but it's like watching a play acted out in my living room at night with just a dim bulb. boring

Again I am very disapointed in Burton's use of lighting. Willy Wonka would ahve been awesome if he didn't have things so blah and flat. Dark doesn't mean literally. Nothing is standing out in this film. He needs to use a better photgrapher
