Taylor Squared: Lautner, Swift Grab Dinner & Dessert -- With Mom Watching

Young, famous and tailor-made for the cameras, Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner and country cutie Taylor Swift went on a dinner date Thursday night in Los Angeles, first stopping at Japanese restaurant Benihana's, followed by dessert at Menchie's Yogurt.

Swift's mother Andrea was on hand for the fun as usual, along with a slew of bodyguards, and for good reason: the white-hot young pair caused a frenzy at Menchie's, as starstruck fans clamored for pictures and autographs. Both Taylors were nice enough to oblige.

One of Hollywood's hottest young couples, Lautner and Swift's romance likely began on the set of Valentine's Day, a romantic comedy the two filmed last July, which hits theaters February 12, 2010.

In the meantime, Lautner can be seen in the blockbuster hit New Moon, which is in theaters now.
