Report: Taylor Lautner & Taylor Swift Split

Darn it. They were such a cute couple!
Country superstar Taylor Swift and New Moon hunk Taylor Lautner have split after three months of dating, according to UsMagazine.com.

"It wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends," a source close to Swift told Us. "There was no chemistry, and it felt contrived."
The pair first met on the set of the star-studded romantic comedy Valentine's Day this past fall and were spotted out on several wholesome dates, including one for frozen yogurt earlier this month with Swift’s mom.

Swift and Lautner never publicly confirmed they were a couple, but each playfully eluded to their budding romance during their separate stints hosting Saturday Night Live recently.
A friend of Swifts tells US that their relationship officially went kaput when Lautner, 17, flew to Nashville for Swift's 20th birthday party on December 13th.

"He liked her more than she liked him," the source tells Us. "He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn't travel much to see him."
The former couple will likely reunite soon though when they begin promoting Valentine’s Day, which is due out February 12th.

He actually looked happy when he was with Selena Gomez. I hope she doesn't write a song about their relationship then go on interview after interview talking about it like she did with the Jonas Brother.

I didn't think that they made a good couple. They seem like opposites and then there's that age difference.

I smell a #1 single on how it all went wrong! lol But seriously, I wouldn't be surprised to see them back together again. He'll soon be 18. There's a lot of growing that goes on once you hit that age. We'll see.

Well no, since it was rumored to be for publicity anyway. Their "relationship" served its little purpose. She was too old for him anyway, girl had older boyfriends since she was a freshman in high school. No innocent angel there.
