Joy Behar Apologizes For Rachel Uchitel Joke

After jokingly calling Rachel Uchitel a "hooker" Thursday, an irritated Joy Behar read an apologetic statement directed toward Tiger Woods' first reported mistress on Monday's edition of The View.
Said Behar: "During a discussion on Thursday's show about the alleged affair between Tiger Woods and Rachel Uchitel, I made a joke, I made a play on Ms. Uchitel's name; this was intended, only as a joke and, I apologize for the choice of words, and for any [problem] the joke may have created.

Uchitel's attorney, the always-present Gloria Allred, called for an apology for the "highly offensive" remark shortly after Thursday's episode aired.

"Even if the host said it in a joking way Rachel is not amused, because she values her reputation and her reputation has been damaged by this statement as it is completely false," Allred said.

Joy Behar is an ignorant woman who thinks she is funny. She is insulting and offensive. Allred is not my favorite but Behar is ignoramus with a national forum which makes her dangerous, as well.

the skank got paid! Joy should not have had to apologize for being truthful, so many of us look at this skank this way. If she does not like the truth, she should not have come out like the opportunistic ho asking for a pay off.

I really dislike Gloria. She's a meddling atty who takes on the worst clients in the world and tries to make out as saints. Rachel Uchitel and she's still a predatory ho. What irks me most is that THE VIEW couldn't man-up and stand by Joy.
