While some reality TV families are falling apart, this one just keeps growing: The Duggars, of TLC fame, welcomed in the family's 19th child, Josie Brooklyn, a 1-pound, 6-ounce baby girl who was born at 6:27 p.m. Thursday at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Arkansas.

The TV family's mother, Michelle, delivered the baby via an emergency C-section procedure, and is said to be resting comfortably with the newborn, who is in stable condition and in the NCIU for extended care.

Josie keeps the family tradition of names that start with the letter J alive, as her siblings are named Jana and John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johanna, Jennifer and Jordyn-Grace.

TLC released this official statement: “Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar welcomed baby 19 earlier than expected on Thursday, December 10, at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Arkansas. Michelle, who has been in the hospital recovering from a gallstone, was taken to the OR for an emergency c-section. Daughter Josie Brooklyn was born at 6:27 p.m. weighing 1lb., 6 oz. Michelle is resting comfortably and baby is stable and in the NICU for extended care. The most important thing right now is for Mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible. The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery.”

Michelle is 42 and it seems to me that most women tend to get cautious as their age increases. Now that she has had a C-section for her general health she maybe should hold-off for a while-or maybe Jim-Bpb should.

Talking about carbon footprint.... Al Gore's carbon footprint is way bigger than the Duggar's will ever be. And you are wrong about their emotional needs. I see a happy family, not sure what you are watching.

Do you ever watch the program--sheesh! You people are really uninformed!

I have yet see Michelle do a lick of work. Older kids do it all. TLC supports this family. Jim Bob will see Michelle die due to his beliefs in Quiverfull. Kids wear used shoes, but Jim Bob likes his hair spray,

Jim Bob supports the family. Always has. Not TLC. He owns commercial properties and a cell phone tower. Chores never hurt a kid. What is wrong with a man using hair spray?

These naysayers are nit-picking--truth be told...they don't like Christians.

That's what I have been thinking, but was nervous about saying. You are absolutely right. They don't like Christians or southern people. It's just prejudice.

I will say that I admire this family amd the moral values that they pass along to their children. You don't see a lot of these values passed from parent to child these days. I pray that Michelle and Josie are able to return home soon.
