Courtney Love Faces Off With Daughter Frances Bean – On Facebook!

Controversial rocker Courtney Love has lashed out at her daughter Frances Bean Cobain after losing temporary legal control of the teenager to her paternal grandmother. And in a series of angry posts on social networking website Facebook, Love has attacked her 17-year-old daughter for choosing to live with her in-laws.
She wrote on Facebook: “I hate to sound cold but any kid of mine who pulls this s**t has lost her position... she was deceptive, she lied and she's lying to herself... My daughter is not always honest.”

The 17- year-old was placed under the temporary guardianship of her late father Kurt Cobain's mother, Wendy O'Connor, and his sister, Kimberly Dawn Cobain last week, giving rise to speculation that Love had had a drug relapse. But Courtney's lawyer insists his client is completely 'clean", but the reasons behind the change of custody are not clear, but that it was teenager Frances decision.
Love also gave an insight into her troubled financial situation, saying her daughter isn't as rich as she thinks she is: “The fact is fbc (Frances Bean Cobain) is deluded - she thinks she has all this money. The point is I have all the money she has.'

In 2006, she reportedly sold 25 per cent of Nirvana’s catalogue for $50 million. And last year she claimed $20 million was embezzled from her by members of her entourage.
“Frances is clearly deluded that she can buy her grandmother a small house in la (Los Angeles). I'd love to see how that works. They'll incubate her (sic) till she’s 18 and then have her sign all the (sic) indnemofications.”

Documents filed at Los Angeles Superior Court last Friday show that Wendy O'Connor, Kurt's mother, and Kimberly Dawn Cobain, his sister, have been named temporary guardians of Frances Bean.
But despite calling her daughter a liar, confusingly she added: “Don't worry, Frances is a wonderful kid, she's got bad people around her and wants it both ways.

“You could've asked for emancipation... you realize this will put you in juvenile family circus three times in your little life? I love you and always will unconditionally.”
The drama comes as the singer appeared on the cover of style magazine Dazed And Confused Magazine, to promote her new album Nobody's Daughter.

Her lawyer told People Magazine: ”Courtney's been clean for years and is perfectly fine.
“This is simply about Frances preferring to live with her grandmother at this time - Frances is 17 and a strong-willed child, and this is a decision she made on her own.”

Francis Bean has has a trust that was put into place when she was very young. No one can touch it. Not her Mom, Grandma, Aunt etc. I believe she can draw on it when she is 25. The girl does have money only cuz Mom hasn't been able to get to it.

idk JonG says he can get into his kid's trusts if he wants to. At least by the time she's 25 most of the stupid should have been washed off. Just b/c it's hers doesn't mean she wont have manipulating people around her controling it

I hope this isn't about money. Kurt probably left everything to his wife at the time. Kids think just because parents have money that they will inherit it. Not so. They may want her to pay child support to grandma for a while.

Thats the only reason i could think they'd want CUSTODY is to get money. Honestly at 17 if your kid moves out a cop probably isnt going to arrest her and ask they work it out on their own.

Courtney once said that all Frances would from her fathers estate was some sweaters and jeans. Courtney sold off or is keeping anything of value for herself. Frances is broke. Great mom.
