A reader turned us on to this line – Perfekt make-up—which frankly we had never heard of. As your investigative Beauty team, we had to try it. As you might imagine, we get pretty much every make-up product and our office is lined with bottles and jars, especially of bases. My go–to is a beautiful Chanel base that gives me plenty of coverage. For a good day (read: when we’ve had enough sleep and not too much alcohol) I can get away with a barely-there Clinque base.

We immediately liked that this line doesn’t come with a six-program regime, just eye perfecting gel and the silky, luxurious gel foundation. It’s light as air, and immediately evens out your complexion and leaves you looking natural, like you were born with Perfekt skin. Using the eye gel and the foundation together, I can even skip the concealer step.

Enriched with powerful antioxidants including the universal antioxidant alpha lipoic acid, and vitamins A and E to help repair, protect, and fight future environmental skin damage, this lightweight gel helps maintain your skin as well.

If you’re not a fan of heavy make-up and want to simplify your routine, this is the line for you. We love the way it makes our skin feel and the fact that some of our co-workers think we’re not wearing anything at all.
