Rod Stewart wants to follow in the footsteps of Mel Gibson and Jon Gosselin, in becoming the next famous father-of-eight.
The 64-year-old rock legend told the British talk show GMTV Tuesday that, in regards to kids, him and his 38-year-old wife, Penny Lancaster, plan on having "one more and then we're going to close the office."

"Yes, we're trying," Stewart bragged. "We actually tried last night."
The doting dad talked about his 4-year son, Alastair.

"He's just a sweet kid at the moment... I did take him out on the football field the other day. He put all his Celtic stuff on. I said, 'Come on, let's get running out there,' and he went, 'Oh, there's some flowers for mummy -- must collect them.' He spent about two hours collecting flowers in a basket for his mum!"

thats cruel. He'll be dead by the time the kid is 10. Not fair for a child to be without a parent. Being rich does not compare with not having a dad. Not a good trade off. Is he really going to be there at 88 to walk down the aisle or help w/college?
