Rihanna said Chris Brown was in a violent trance as he beat her this past spring, in an interview with Good Morning America on Friday.

The 21-year-old Barbadian beauty described, in detail, the brutal beating that took place when she said an argument ensued over a text message Brown received from another woman.
The Disturbia singer said: "I caught him in a lie, and he wouldn't tell the truth -- and I wouldn't drop it."

Rihanna said she recalled thinking during the beating: "When is it going to stop? When is it going to stop? He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank. He was clearly blacked-out. There was no person when I looked at him.
"I couldn't take that he kept lying to me, and he couldn't take that I wouldn't drop it," she said. "It escalated into him being violent towards me. And it was ugly ... I was battered, I was bleeding, I was swollen in my face."

Brown was sentenced to five years' probation and ordered to do 180 days of community labor as a part of the plea deal he made in June for his assault, which took place in in Hancock Park, California. The restraining order issued to Brown orders to keep his distance from her for five years.

Okay..well she kept quite for 8 months someone could have lost their life by now,,,And interesting that Sawyer did not follow up questioning how they were dangerous for each other,,,she probably was pounding on Chris as well..

Wow, a bit over dramatic huh? I'm not a hater. She doesn't speak about the incident until now, when she has a CD coming out?? Looks like she is blatantly using this to seek publicity to hawk her CD!! Shame on her!!

These entertainers are becoming more and more pathetic. I don't condone his behavior but IMO she is speaking now as a stunt to get publicity to peak interest in her new CD. Seems a bit phony to me.
