Kate and Jon Gosselin continue to live out their separate lives in front of the public. On Monday’s show of Jon & Kate Plus 8, Kate has a reflective moment after taking all eight of the children to dinner minus her estranged husband.

On one of the last episodes of the series, Kate takes the kids to dinner and later watches over them as they head to gymnastics class for the first time. During the second half of the show, the brood spend time with Jon during a visit with a local professional baseball team.

“This was kind of weird and different,” Kate said when looking back at her dinner outing with the children. “It probably is the first time I took all eight kids to dinner. I’m not going to say along but, you know, without Jon.”

Even through she patted herself on the back about how “efficient” she was, she did concede that she and Jon used to “have a process” of passing out the cups, foods, etc.

After brushing off the nostalgia, Kate couldn’t help but add: “I didn’t feel like I was too hindered by it.”

They're in a restaurant and are 5 & 8 yrs old. For crying out loud, let the restaurant plate their food! She had to control everything, right down to portioning out their mac and cheese, fries, and cutting their sandwiches into 1/4's.

Let the kitchen do it? And miss an opportunity to call attention to herself??

"There's only 9 of us now" is the same "reason" she gave for not going to church anymore. Guess she is not the Christian she once claimed to be.

You can describe Kate Gosselin with one word -- demanding, hostile, exploitative, short attention span, irritable, hedonistic and grandiose -- or you can describe her with many -- bipolar.

I hope Jon takes this week's episode with him to court. How much more obvious could TLC be on how they manipulate the public by creative editing. Let them hear Kate call Jon nuts in front of the kids 2! so glad Kate is finito.

Kate is so controlling that when the twins(age 9) want to order what they want Kate says order vetgetables or fruit........thought this was a "TREAT"!!!!! It should be their choice.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH HAVING YOUR CHILDREN EAT VEGGIES. THE TREAT IS THEY WERE GETTING TO EAT OUT. WHAT KIND OF MOTHER ARE YOU? YOU JUST DON'T LIKE KATE SO ANYTHING SHE DOES IS BAD!

I think it is a treat for the mom. Kate likes to perceive herself as glamorous. Can't do that staying home in the kitchen.
