EXCLUSIVE: Michael Lohan’s Plea To Lindsay: “Go To Rehab And I’ll Stop Talking"

Michael Lohan isn’t going down without a fight—but he’s finally ready to do it privately, on one condition.
“As far as Lindsay is concerned, if she goes into a rehab, I will stop,” he told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “But if the lies continue and the prescription drug use doesn’t stop, neither will I.”
On Sunday, Lindsay’s mother and Michael’s ex-wife, Dina Lohan, gave an explosive interview to the New York Post criticizing Michael for threatening to go public with tapes he says expose Dina for her own addictions and prove that Lindsay has an prescription drug problem.
“He’s getting a cease-and-desist letter [from us], so that’s not going to happen,” Dina said. “If it’s something personal about your child, you don’t go public with it.”
But Daddy Lohan says he’s going public because he feels it’s the only avenue he has left to reach out to his daughter and pressure her to get help.
“To begin with, I have been trying for a year to help Lindsay with her problems PRIVATELY through Lindsay, her mom, her attorney Blair Berk and even her new attorney Shawn Holley and the courts,” Lohan told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
“I have the records to prove it. But when that didn’t work, and the calls I was getting from Dina and Lindsay needed immediate attention, it was recommended to me to go public, like Martin Sheen and others did, in order to put pressure on Lindsay.”
He continues, “I wasn’t going to let people hear Dina’s drunken rants about Lindsay, and I certainly wasn’t going to let people hear anything about Lindsay, but now that Dina and Lindsay continue to lie and deny their problems, and even make up stories about me, NOW you will see and hear Lindsay’s calls and texts. I am NOT the liar, they are. Hopefully then, they will realize how deceptive and in denial they are and finally realize that lying and denial are part of their addictions.
“I am sorry I had to take this route, but I have tried and tried to help Linds and I have been lied about long enough.”

How sad to have a loony toon for a Father constantly embarrassing you because of his own selfishness as a human being. He's the MAIN addict, alcoholic, convict and abuser in that family. He has such a slimy / greasy aura about him. Gross.

If Lindsay won't talk to him, then write her a letter, how about that? Talk to her attorney privately about your concerns. Pay your child support, show that you actually can be a responsible parent first!

Lindsay is an adult - Lohan needs to stop with the public pandering, his supposed show of caring. How about if he takes a look at how him saying these things publicly would affect Lindsay?

Lohan doesn't even pay child support that is due for him to pay. He's been estranged from his kids for years. Lindsay takes any step forward, and there's daddy in the public pulling out anything he can
