Fighting back tears, Kate Gosselin told The Today Show on Monday she only has $1,000 to care for her children after husband Jon took $230,000 out of their joint account last week.
“He took $230,000 of the $231,000 we had,” the 34-year-old reality TV mom told Meredith Vieira in New York . “I have a stack of bills. The last thing I wanted was to do this show and end up not being able to pay our bills.

Kate admitted in the interview she had withdrawn a large sum of money from the account earlier this year, but later returned it because of stipulations on the couple’s separation agreement.

“I removed it to keep it safe,” she said. “I had taken $100,000 and put it aside safely so I could buy my kids food if needed.”
Jon appeared on Larry King Live last week, and said he wanted “Kate and I to mediate. I want us to become friends."
Last week, TLC announced it was dropping Jon’s name from the title of the show, renaming it “Kate Plus 8.” Jon responded by demanding that TLC stop production of the show.

Can't sleep at night? Suggestion. Take your meds regularly or ask your MD to change your prescription. Or when the nannies, oops, you put the kids to bed, dip into your stash of wine to sooth your nerves.

What is funny, is she even admitted to taking money out of the account without Jon knowing about it since she controled the account. She also made it sound like he did it overnight when in fact he did over a period of time.
