EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Lautner’s Date With Taylor Swift And Her Mom

Taylor Swift has officially introduced her new man to her mom.

The country singer proudly showed off Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner to her mother during an intimate dinner on Monday night.

The pair have been seen on a number of dates over the last couple of months.

And Swift has finally asked for her mom/manager, Andrea’s seal of approval.

As reported earlier by RadarOnline.com the happy threesome met at Bistro Garden restaurant in Studio City.

And inside the plush eatery they hit it off almost instantly.

“The three of them sat together in the main dining room,” said a server. “He seemed a little nervous at first but the young lady kept smiling at him and soon he appeared to relax.”

The restaurant, with its old Hollywood feel, was the perfect location for a first meeting and appeared to have been hand picked to impress Swift’s mum.

With it’s candle lit tables, high ceilings and vast array of flowers Andrea was happy to be in the company of the young couple.

But despite early public displays of affection – the pair share a steamy kiss in their new movie ‘Valentine’s Day’ and have been spotted on numerous outings together – they kept their hands to themselves.

“They smiled a lot and kept looking at each other, but they weren’t holding hands. They definitely looked like a couple in love though,” said the source.

Although it was unclear who paid the bill, employees believed it was Lautner.

“I think he picked up the tab,” he said. “But I couldn’t be sure. Of course it would have been the gentlemanly thing to do.”

All three left together after their meal but again the pair respected Swift’s mother and there was no smooching or hand holding to be seen.

Although they are yet to officially announce their romance, a source close to Swift refused to deny it Wednesday.

“I can’t comment on their relationship,” he told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

And when asked if he could deny it he said: “I can’t do that either.”

The singer became embarrassed on the radio Wednesday too when asked about whether she was dating her latest co-star.
"I don't know, he's an amazing guy and we're really close ... and ah... yep," she said on CMT Radio Show. "We're in a movie together and I am really excited about seeing it."

Swift’s mom isn’t the only one giving them the thumbs up either.

Her friend – and Lautner’s ex – Selena Gomez certainly doesn’t have any hard feelings about them.

The BFF’s went out for dinner together to The Grove restaurant, ‘Maggiano’s’ where sources say they were enjoying a girlie night out.

“They were giggling and chatting all night long,” said a server. “Taylor ate pasta and I think Selena had chicken.”

When asked if it looked like they were having a heated discussion of any kind he said: “Not at all, far from it.”

And they continued their evening with a stop to frozen yogurt shop, Menchie’s in Studio City, where they wrote their names on the chalk board, ‘Selena + Taylor = A heart’.”
