Rosie O'Donnell might have less presents to buy this upcoming holiday season: The 47-year-old TV personality has confirmed rumors that her five-year marriage to partner Kelli Carpenter is on the rocks.

In an interview at her Nyack, N.Y. compound on Tuesday, O'Donnell told USA Today, "We're a family, we remain a family and we're working on the issues," when asked about the reported rift in the couple's relationship. Carpenter, 42, was not present during the interview.

O'Donnell and Carpenter have three adopted children -- Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12 and Blake, 9 -- as well as Vivienne, 6, the daughter Carpenter gave birth to via artificial insemination.

"They're adorable and wonderful and they are by far a priority," O'Donnell said of her children with Carpenter. "Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties. But everything's fine and everybody's good and we're still both raising them together. We will both continue to parent them and we're friendly and everything's all right."

Thunderliger1........FYI.......It has nothing to do with religion.

Queer marriages are an abomination of the most basic premise of marriage. That has not changed.

I like this post by maggie...she states her belief and she didn't call anyone a name while doing so.

Name calling from either side is wrong...IMO.

Have you ever tried to rationalize with a bigot that has a religious bent ?

Rather than insulting another poster why not try to engage them in a conversation so both sides just express their viewpoints?

And your posts are based on ignorance, bigotry, and a general lack of education
