Madonna continues her fundraising tour of the impoverished African nation of Malawi.

Thursday the pop superstar was snapped with daughter Lourdes and adopted daughter Mercy and son David as they visited the Mphandula Child Care Center, 29 miles west of Lilongwe.

Madonna is in the country to oversee the building of her Raising Malawi Academy for Girls, as well as raise awareness and funds for the struggling country.
Madonna Allowed To Adopt Malawi Tot
Both Mercy and David were adopted from Malawi and Madonna has pledged her support and voiced her determination to raise funds for the country, through her charity Raising Malawi.

Little David and Mercy appear to be flourishing in their new lives with their adopted mom, with Mercy waving happily at the crowds and adorable David mugging for the cameras.

It's great to see a celebrity like Madonna not only talking the talk, but walking the walk. She takes her wealth and privilege seriously and she's teaching her children to do the same. I really respect her for that!

Why is it these movie stars never do anything for American children? They make all their money from this country,then they take it to Africa & build schools, adopt their children,what about USA kids they need help also

How do you know what charities Madonna supports in the U.S.? Charity is charity and she obviously takes it seriously. I think we should leave our snarky comments for people like Lindsay Lohan whose only charity is themselves!

Little Mercy is sure a cutie. It looks like she is developing an adorable personality. She seems like she is very outgoing and she seem a truly happy child.

Madonna is a cheap ****! She's gave 100k (equivalent of $10 for most of us) to build this school in honor or HER!!!! Then asks US to contribute! At least Oprah built the entire school! Even her brother said she was a nasty cheap ass!

Actually, no she didn't. She's been giving millions so get your info straight. She's making several pledges to raise more money all the time. And Oprah's Angel Network (supported by public donations) built her school.

Damn, put some shoes on that kid! It's about time Madonna MET and got to know her daughter! She had the nanny pick her up, then she goes on TOUR with the other three!

Madonna spent time w her alone before the tour and Mercy also went along with all the children during the tour. The children were not separated. They have settled in NYC ever since.

Yapping w/o the facts. Madonna was in the process of adopting her for 2 years & was given permission to take her home 1 mo before her tour started. Her caretaker from the orphanage took her to London so she wouldn't be bothered by the press!
