Lisa Marie Presley has joined forces with U.K. musician Richard Hawley to restart her music career.

The daughter of Elvis Presley and ex-wife of the late Michael Jackson, Lisa Marie made a surprise appearance on stage with rockabilly Hawley Thursday in London.

With her mother Priscilla Presley watching from the wings, Lisa Marie sang while Hawley accompanied her on guitar on their first collaboration, Weary.

"I hadn't been on stage for a long time but I felt better about doing it here," Lisa Marie said after the performance.  "People are more music-focused here than they are in America."

The 41-year-old mother of four has two previous platinum-selling albums.

These people never appreciate America, look at Angelina Jolie does she ever adopt American chidlren? NO! Presley obviously doesn't appreciate what this country has given her either!

To those of you offended by her comment about the U.S v. U.K musically, she does have a point. Even Jimi Hendrix didn't realize any success until he went to the UK.

It seems that everyone that tries to revive their career goes to Europe! The UK mainly!

I can't believe that Liza Marie would say that about America and mean it literally. I always admired her for the way she handled herself in public. I hope these are words from another source and not hers.

Liza said: "People are more music-focused here than they are in America."

I say: Careful now Liza...don't bite the hand that feeds you! Then again, perhaps not, daddy was a good soul.

I'm so glad! I love her and feel like she had a bum rap because she was expected to be BETTER than Elvis! She has a beautiful singing voice! The song "In the Ghetto" that she did with her father was awesome!!!
