Larry Birkhead Wanted Dannielynn Drug Tested

Larry Birkhead wanted his own child drug tested for fear Anna Nicole Smith was drugging her through breast feeding.
Testifying in the case against Howard Stern and two of Smith's former doctors, Birkhead confirmed he was fearful for Dannielynn's health.

Referring back to his statement in his 2006 paternity suit Birkhead confirmed he wanted the court to order a drug test on his daughter and her mother.
When asked by the prosecution in the Downtown Los Angeles courtroom if he was concerned her drug taking was effecting his child he said, "Yes." He also aknowledged that he wanted his ex to come back from the Bahamas where she was staying so he could monitor her.

"I didn't know what sort of condition she was in," he said. "She had just lost her son and that was a tremedous blow. I didn't know if the things I saw happening in the States were carrying on over there."

Prosecutors asked him outright; "You thought it was necessary to drug test your child?"
To which Birkhead said, "Yes, my lawyers said so."
Birkhead has previously told the court that Smith was taking methadone when pregnant.

And he said on Monday that he didn't know what else to do but to try to get his daughter back to him from overseas.
"I didn't know if she was taking too much medication, not taking enough. If she was having seizures."

Fortunately Birkhead was also able to confirm that despite Smith's drug problems, their daughter is healthy.
"She is healthy?" he was asked.
"Yes ma'am," he said.
"And she was born healthy?"
"Yes ma'am."
The case is continuing.

He was chosen as a sperm donner for Anna Nicole Smith. He was not a well known, or successful photographer. His former boyfriend sold the story two years ago, and Larry never disputed the facts.

He took pics of Anna Nicole because he was a photog. That's how they met. Yes, he sold pics of her & then their Daughter. That's how they make $! He is from a VERY WEALTHY FAMILY, tho! He fought for his Daughter! That means alot!!

the guy is an o.k. father only because he dose not need to pay child support-if he had to it would be a different story- with no job to speak of ever he exploits his child for a living just as alot seem to do anymore-SO GOOD FATER NOT

what? He fought to get custody of his child because she wasn't safe! She looks happy and healthy! So he gets money for pictures of her big deal, do you know how many parents have their kids in commercials? That makes them all bad?

they also have other jobs and not just living of the childs picture- what job has he got or ever had except eploiting her mother by taking pictures and selling them as he dose there child -so no i do not think he is a good father

This is so sad. That poor baby. It does look like Larry is a loving Dad though. Does he still live in LA? What does he do to make a living? Is he still friends with Howard K Stern? I thought he said once that he would move back to KY.

I believe most of the time he lives in Kentucky! And I doubt that after this trial he'll be friends with Stern.
