Kate Gosselin: “I Don’t Feel Like Its Time" To End Show; Swaps Out Wedding Ring

Kate Gosselin, appearing on the Today Show Monday, discussed the future of her show, custody arrangements, her wedding ring and her ongoing divorce proceedings with husband Jon.

The 34-year-old reality TV mom said that husband Jon can decide to stop the production of the show at his whim, per an agreement TLC made earlier that if one parent objected, they would not go forward.

“I don’t feel like it’s time to end it," she said. "The nine of us who want to continue it should be able to do it. We’re still enjoying it; it still needs to go forward. It’s what we are doing. I don’t know what else to say.”

For the first time since their split, Kate is no longer wearing her original wedding ring. Instead on the Today Show, Kate donned the Hawaiian ring Jon gave her in Aug. 2008 when the then-happy duo renewed their vows. Kate said the ring is only temporary: "I'm changing them out; I'm switching them out."
She said she is in the process of getting a ring fitted that is representative of her and her children.

"We discussed a ring I might buy," she said. "It has eight little diamonds and a mother of pearl."
Confirming a previous RadarOnline.com exclusive, Kate said Jon had indeed called her asking to redo the current arrangement, one of the two times the once-happily married parents of eight have spoken in the past two weeks.

Kate said she won't consider the 90-day hiatus toward her divorce husband Jon proposed last week, saying, "I don’t feel like we need to stop the divorce proceedings,” adding that while she wants peace so badly, "peace is really far away."
"Actions speak louder than words," Kate said. "Come what may, I know that my actions are solely for the kids. I have a lot of peace about this. I know my actions are appropriate [and] well thought out.”

I am so sick of listening to these two going on National Televison crying about all of their personal problems! Enough is Enough already! Grow up and keep your personal business private now. They are both in the wrong and the kids are paying for it!

The ring thing is stupid. She's making way to much out of a piece of metal and her kids feelings about it. Replacing it for the kids to feel better is just prolonging it. Let it go already. Talk to a therapist.

Nope don't feel sorry for her. Dr. Phil stated reality shows are not good for families. What part of that statement did she NOT understand.

Can't feel sorry for her. People are out of jobs, losing their homes, homeless, hungry. J needs to return the $22,000.00 so she can pay for the lawyers she need to freakisly control the father of her children with.

The twins are probably sharing their feelings & asking questions of their dad too. Realistically, the twins have witnessed K's treatment of J & seen, in the media, J's antics. Doesn't matter, they STILL LOVE BOTH parents.

She says she has NOT said anything deragatory about Jon. No one really knows b/c the "OLD Jon" was treated like a beaten down prisoner of war. Don't attack, just review past episodes.

What blew me was when she said that she even took $100,000 out without telling anyone. Why is ok for her, but not for Jon. I am not a Kate hater, but her she also has not been really honest in all of this either.
