Following a night out with girlfriend Hailey Glassman, Jon Gosselin grabbed breakfast to go on Thursday in New York City.

Jon is gearing up for a potentially tough day, with soon to be ex-wife Kate saying he can only spend two hours with his twin girls on their birthday, and Jon insisting he will spend as much time as he wants - things could get fraught in the Gosselin household.

Jon was spotted Wednesday buying Mady and Cara a cake and shopping for gifts from the Swatch store, taking time in the morning to chat with the paparazzi.
During his chat Jon revealed part of an email from Kate limiting his time with the kids as she didn’t want to see him or spend time with him.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed though Jon did not read the entire email, leaving out the part where Kate offered Jon her time at the weekend to spend with the kids as a sweetener.

Meanwhile, while Jon was getting his breakfast a tired looking Kate was on the school run in Wernersville Pennsylvania, dropping the birthday girls off at the school bus stop.

Let’s hope for the sake of the kids Jon and Kate can resolve their differences as amicably as possible.

For years the show was on and none of this over the top attention was going on. Then the paps got a shot of Jon cheating and that started the Tabloid fever that still is running high.

Jon is doing a good job of advertising their birthday. No wonder the paps are swarming there, due to him not being able to keep his mouth shut. the paps are there hoping for some Jon and Kate drams due to Jon

so i just came back from reading and as always I take the back road to bypass the evry block traffic lights, and went by the house, i is swarmed with paps!!!

How sad. So much for Jon's plan that once TLC stopped filming the kids would have a normal life. I hope he's happy that their birthday is now an even bigger circus....

I drive my grandson to school, believe me u don't wanna see me in the morning I role out of bed brush my teeth, grab the 11 yr old and 2 yr old and out the door. I could care less what I look like. LOL

I'm sorry but these crews and paps are out of line. Let those children have some privacy. Do not follow them around and put stress on those children. They are children for gods sake. What is wrong with them

I just saw the et "live video" they are showing the back of the house. So much for all the folks who say if the gosselins stayed at the back of the house the paps wouldn't be able to get the pictures
