Michael Jackson's father Joe was all smiles at The Palms Casino in Las Vegas Tuesday night, where he lounged in the casino before taking in his late son's film, This Is It.

The Jackson family patriarch, living up to his reputation for glitz, showmanship and self-promotion, wore a gaudy pin-striped suit while accompanied by a pair of leggy beauties that looked right at home on the Vegas strip.

Before taking in the film, Jackson exchanged well-wishes with Todd Bridges of Diff’rent Strokes fame.

Since Michael's death on June 25, Joe has kept a high profile in the public eye with numerous talk show appearances and press conferences. He was called into question for a June 28 interview given on the red carpet at the BET Awards, just three days after Michael's death, in which he said he was "great," and blew off questions about the family's mourning to throw in a plug for his record label.
