And, in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Jon’s friend Michael Lohan blames much of Jon’s problems on bad legal advice.
“From a legal standpoint, I don’t agree with anything being done right now,” Lohan told RadarOnline.com about Jon’s situation.

Despite being escorted around Los Angeles by his lawyer Mark Heller, Gosselin still managed to dig himself even deeper into a grave of bad publicity. Most recently he found himself the target of public anger over Kate’s claim that he emptied their joint bank account, leaving her with just $1,000 to pay their bills.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Michael Lohan says the reality star is being misled by those around him.
“First of all, I listened to Kate and I understand exactly where she’s coming from when it comes to paying the bills and taking care of the kids,” he told RadarOnline.com. “I also believe that Jon will not have his kids living with no roof over his head so I think they’ll work something out. However, and this is a big however, whoever his counsel was who advised Jon to do what he did are the ones who should be put on the chopping block.”

Jon’s counsel is attorney Mark Heller, who appeared with him Monday on The Insider, during which CNN’s Nancy Grace ripped into the reality star for getting bad legal advice.
Lohan tells RadarOline.com, he agrees.
“I agree 100 percent. What kind of counsel would advise Jon to prevent the camera crews from going on his property when they know that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen?” Lohan told RadarOnline.com. “What counsel would advise Jon to back off from doing an interview with E!—which Jon was offered and didn’t do--when TLC isn’t preventing Kate from doing any interviews at all?”

If J-K got a good contract they are being paid a stipend for each "re-run" Jon will rue the day he started all of this. ET paid for the birthday cake and the rights to film so who is selling the kids private moments now?

Jon didn't even buy the cake he's bringing? Boy, I'd feel about 2 inches tall bringing a cake that I had NOTHING to do with to my child's birthday. Maybe he could have stayed at his apartment and baked one himself??????

TLC carries "key man insurance" for principal players and cessation of production, so they are laughing at Jon who they will sue for breach of contract and still collecting revenue. Jon you are tied up from going elsewhere. What a dork Jon is.

LOL! ohhhh, so now it's the ATTORNEY'S fault, for all of JON'S bad decisions...? If Jon is hob knobbing with the rich & famous now, surely at least one of them could point him in the direction of an excellent, ethical attorney?

Here's the best advice for Jon...get rid of the money hungry attorney, Michael Lohan and Hailey. Surround yourself with people who support your being a good father rather than for $...then things will start turning around.

Best advice for Jon is a GAG ORDER! No kidding. Everytime he opens his mouth he is sticking his foot in deeper and deeper. One contradiction after another, just hours apart too. Jon is digging his own grave.

Now don't yell but I am on Kate's side but I definitely think there needs to be a gag order on her too. Every day paparazzi asking the kids on way to school what they think of what daddy said night before. Changes with Jon's accusations

LOL..this is hilarious!! Who gives a flying fig if Lohan doesn't agree with the current legal advice Jon is getting (even if it is bad advice)...this from a guy who spent 2 years in prison?? LOL...that's just ripe!
