EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Kate Gosselin’s Lawyer Issues Stern Warning To Jon And His Lawyer

Marty Singer has been named one of Los Angeles’ top lawyers year after year and now he’s just issued a stern warning to both Jon Gosselin and his lawyer Mark Heller.

Singer, representing Kate Gosselin, not only has Jon in his sights, but is prepared to carry the fight to his lawyer in a case where Jon has defied a court order in the acrimonious divorce.

RadarOnline.com broke the story early Sunday that Jon removed hundreds of thousands of dollars from a joint account with Kate last week, despite a court order prohibiting such action.

Now, Singer tells RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview: “If the money is not immediately returned, we will be looking into potential claims against Mr. Heller if he had any involvement with the violation of the court order.

"It is very disappointing that Jon Gosselin has escalated this to such an ugly place that her lawyers have to do everything they can to protect her and her children from his outrageous actions."

Put that in the category of not a threat, put a promise.

Kate hired Lavely & Singer after discovering Jon secretly pulled out $200,000 from their bank account, leaving her with only $1,000. That action violated a court order and Singer sent Jon's lawyer a letter via email but never heard back. Meanwhile, Jon and his lawyer appeared on Larry King Live and Jon told the national TV audience he wanted to put the brakes on his divorce and establish a better relationship with Kate.

In his letter to Heller, Singer wrote: "My client's consent was never requested, let alone given for your client's unilateral withdrawal of hundreds of thousands of dollars.......We demand the immediate return to the Account of all monies improperly withdrawn by your client. If you and your client fail to comply with this demand, you do so at your peril."

Kate discovered Jon's actions through overdraft notices and is extremely upset.

As RadarOnline.com reported earlier Sunday, another one of Kate’s lawyers will be going to court in Pennsylvania on Monday seeking to recover the funds. The lawyer may also ask that Jon be held in contempt.

And in what could be the most dramatic turn yet, if Jon is found to be in contempt of the court order he could end up behind bars!

not doing it for the money.....HUH. i hate always being right! BOTH parents are money grubbers and ATTENTION ****S. and you can take that to the bank!

I can't imagine the damage of growing up in a household where you mother and father sold your childhood to a network and then paraded their divorce on the national media. When will the filming end?

I think Kate & Jon are both greedy money grubbers....BUT I can see Kate taking care of the kids well, and making sure the money is spent on them....Whereas, with Jon, it would be a "me first" mentality....
