Breaking News: Sarah Palin’s Husband Todd Quits His Job

Both heads of the Palin household are now without a job. Todd Palin, the husband of former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has quit his oil field job on the North Slope a few months after she resigned as governor of Alaska.

“Todd Palin resigned his position with BP effective September 18, 2009. He’s one of our employees, we respect their privacy,” the company spokesman Steve Rinehart confirmed to RadarOnlne.com. “He worked for us for many years as a production operator, and he worked up on the North Slope. There are large processing plants on the North Slope that separate oil, water and gas that comes up from the wells and his job was to help run one of those plants. Typically those jobs are on a location, people rotate on and off, two weeks on and two weeks off.”

Sarah Palin's spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton said Todd hopes to return to his union job and for now is spending time with his family.

Levi Johnston, the father of Bristol Palin’s baby Trip, exclusively told RadarOnline.com that Sarah resigned from her position as Governor because of the martial problems she and Todd were having.

State financial disclosures show Todd Palin earned nearly $34,472 working part-time last year for BP and about $51,679 in the family's commercial fishing business.

Sarah's book titled Going Rogue: An American Life, will be in stores November 17.

Why all the hate of Sarah Palin? She loves God, her family and her country. She's worked all her life at a job and raising a family. What is it exactly that makes everyone so hateful towards her? I'm just trying to understand.

Yea someone paid that much to have dinner with her. But if she does not approve of that person the deal is off. And they have to fill out a questionaire. Now how cold is she.

Sarah Palin raised $63, 500 in 10 days for injured veterans cause. The bidder paid that just to have dinner with Sarah and Todd. Hollywood can trash her all they want but do you see anyone paying that to eat with David Letterman or Joy Behar??????

Perhaps people *would* pay to have dinner with Ms. Behar or Mr. Letterman, but you don't see them whoring themselves out like that, do you?

Palin's book is not even in stores yet but it is on the best seller list. Middle America is listening to her. Hollywood has made millions mocking her.. Sarah won't even have to do a book tour because the EXTREME left will advertise for her.

Levi Johnston will SAY and DO anything for money. His only accomplishment in life is getting Bristol pregnant. Teen girls should take a close look at what happens when you let a star jock in your pants at 16. This should lower teen pregnancy.

I believe this is not a lazy family at all as you all are trying to say- they have worked hard over the yrs. and saved more power to them to follow other dreams. not like most collecting there welfare checks

Not suprised, there seems to be an epidemic of lazy men who wont work in the public eye lately. It's the newest celebrity trend, refusing to support your kids. Todd Palin is just a better looking Jon Gosselin.
