Any mother that would jeopardize the welfare of her children doesn't deserve to raise them, she told them to lie, she could have left this maniac but chose to stay, her children do not come first in her life!

I think she went along because she was afraid of Richard's temper. He's going to take the wrap for this. She'll have to leave him if she wants to keep the kids from foster care.

Making your kids lie for your own benefit is just plain wrong! I can't imagine what Falcon must be going through at school, kids can be really cruel.

Mayumi needs intensive counseling...She may be the lesser of the two evils (the other one being her husband), but still, she went along with this and instructed her children to do the same.. She has to face the music equally.

She'll be okay. She seems like she still has a soul.

I predict she will avoid jail time. I knew that she would get her own attorney. This is a wise move, as her legal interests are quite different from her husband's, and there would otherwise be a conflict.

I think she'll receive leniency from the prosecutor for her cooperation, especially considering the extent to which Mr Heene appears to have dominated and brainwashed the family.
