VIDEO: Taylor Swift "Wasn't So Excited" After Kanye West Jumped Onstage

Taylor Swift said she was at first "excited" to see Kanye West jump on the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night during her acceptance speech for Best Female Video Award, "...then, I wasn't so excited anymore."

The Heartless singer hijacked the stage during the speech, saying "Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'll let you finish, but Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!"

Swift responded with grace, telling reporters afterwards, "I don't know him and I don't want to start anything because I just had a great night tonight."
The silver lining in Swift's cloudy evening was sealed when the classy Knowles invited her on the stage while accepting the Video of the Year Award.

Taylor is a child with 100 times the maturity of West. The awards shows should ban West from being a presenter or a lead act. He can sit in the audience but I doubt if he will win another award. He does not deserve one.

I have been tired of Kanye West for a long time. This just makes me to be sure to try and avoid any show he is a part of and to NEVER buy his music or other products. Kanye is a JERK.

The audacity and arrogance that Kanya West shows is just galling! To see Taylor's face after the initial shock was heart breaking. It just shows that class isn't distinguished by age but by maturity and Taylor Swift has it in spares.
