What a difference a week or so makes. It wasn’t that long ago when Kate Gosselin was everywhere -- the Today Show, Larry King Live, a stinging cover story on People magazine -- talking about her messy, messy breakup with estranged hubby Jon.
Now, the reality TV mom has clammed up as Jon goes on the offensive with his own one-man media blitz, appearing in taped pieces over the course of several days on Good Morning America and also in an ABC special, entitled Primetime: Family Secrets, on Tuesday night.

Cameras caught up with Kate Wednesday morning as she was pumping gas after dropping off the kids at the bus stop in Reading, PA. and peppered her with questions about Jon’s charge that she stole his wedding ring.

These girl's that make jonboy look like a king sitting his fat butt on a throne has got to be hailey are her friend's. Come on the guy has been with three younger women and drinking and probably worse. kid's come first no matter what .

Famous kids. Wealthy family. Where's the jon and kate house? Oh look, it's jon waiting at the fence for fans. It allows the public to become comfortable approaching the house. He's making the whole family less secure.

If being friendly to reporters is necessary for good ratings, she does not seem too worried about ratings. If Jon really wished his life was normal, why is he out by the side of the road playing to fans?

If he had real evidence she took the ring, he should resolve that privately with family court. The kids will have access to google eventually. The kids will know about the divorce. They can and should be protected from details like this.

With all the possible places that ring could be, the huge number of people who could have had access to it, accusing anyone of stealing it on national television is a reckless move.

I have one four year old at home. I always put my rings in a really secure (high up!!) place. If I didn't, they would be in the vacuum. 8 Kids. How many outsiders wander through the Gosselin home daily? It's probably in a toy bin.

Kate couldn't keep mum if her life depended on it. This woman is a walking contradiction. Not less than 24 hours and she is already striking back in yet another tabloid interview.
