Teen country sensation Taylor Swift finally got what she was waiting for on Tuesday—an apology from Kanye West. As RadarOnline.com confirmed, the rapper called Taylor immediately following her appearance on The View to make ammends for interrupting her acceptance speech at Sunday’s MTV VMAs.

On Tuesday, Taylor talked about receiving that phone call, in an interview with ABC News Radio, and how she felt hearing the rapper’s apology.

“He did call me,” she said. “He was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted his apology.”

When asked if things will be ok between them down the road, Taylor, 19, responded, “Yeah, definitely,” and revealed that it was the support she received from her peers in the music industry and fans that allowed her to get to a place where she could accept Kanye’s apology.

As RadarOnline.com reported, West jumped on stage on Sunday night during Swift’s acceptance for Best Video, reportedly sending the teen country sensation into tears backstage.

Despite confessing how sorry he was on his blog and on The Jay Leno Show on Monday night, Kanye had yet to express his remorse to Taylor herself.

I like her a lot, and felt so bad for her, but he was sincere in his 3? apologies. He made a mistake and owned up to it. It's not like he jumped on stage, punched her in the belly and took her award.

Taylor is so classy and mature for her age. She didn't stoop to his level and was cool about the whole thing. As much as he deserved it she hasn't bad mouthed Kanye at all.

Look I'm white and just because a black entertainer goes bad does not mean they are all bad! evidently a lot of people like hip hop, yes Obama called it right, he should not be penalized because he is the Pres.

WHY should anyone find fault with President Obama -- for calling a jack a s s ... a jack a s s ?? Kanye acted like a deranged lunatic -- who only provided America with yet another reason to HATE hip-hop and black male entertainers.

What bothers me about this is if it was a man accepting the award that was around older than Kayne, he probably would have thought twice about doing it.
