Looking incredibly grown up in a shimmering silver full-length gown, 17-year-old Selena Gomez was one of the stand-outs on the red carpet for Saturday's Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

The star of Wizards of Waverly Place joined several of her cast mates at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live for the event that honors achievement in TV in areas such as music and art direction, and guest-starring roles.

Tina Fey - a winner for Outstanding Guest Actress in A Comedy Series (as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live), Jamie Lynn Siegler, Ashley Tisdale and Ryan O'Neal also attended.

The ceremony will be broadcast September 18 on E!  The Primetime Emmys take place September 20.
