Paula Abdul is keeping the focus on her future projects, not past ones, plugging her upcoming stint as guest host for the VH1 Divas special, a live concert in which stars like Miley Cyrus, Jordin Sparks and Kelly Clarkson are also slated to take the stage.
"Heading to the big apple today," Paula Tweeted Thursday. "Rehearsal, Rehearsal, Rehearsal! Divas is readily approaching. Only 1 week away! <3 all of you."

Since leaving American Idol, the Emmy- and Grammy-winning ex-Laker girl's name has also been connected to shows including Ugly Betty and Dancing With The Stars.

I too, will miss Paula and don't know if I am going to continue to watch the show. She was the heart and soul of AI and will be sorely missed.....

Good it time to let her move on... Ellen is on AI now and millions of people will still watch.. It just won't be me I'm so over AI..
