Kate Gosselin Promotes Volunteerism At Skating Event

Kate Gosselin left her own kids at home but shook hands and took pictures with hundreds of others at the Stars, Stripes and Skates event benefiting the Heritage Foundation of 9/11, an organization that promotes patriotism and volunteerism in the wake of September 11.

Professional ice skaters Johnny Weir, Oksana Baiul and several others put on a spectacular show. In addition to Kate, The Real Housewife of New York City star Jill Zarin and Hairspray's Nikki Blonsky made presentations about the Foundation's mission.
Kate's appearance came just hours after her estranged husband Jon Gosselin did his own charity thing.
Jon was the star attraction at an autism event in Philadelphia.
Kate has been making an increasing number of appearances outside of her TLC reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8.
A week ago she taped the pilot for a chat show that will star celebrity chef Paula Deen and herself.
Kate also guest-hosted a week of ABC's The View.

Old news. Like the fact diva Kate took charge of the ladies room & made it her own excluding all even Hairspray star Nicki Blonsky.

Too bad Kate was a mistempered diva & stood out as demanding & rude while with 'real' stars -- and at a charitable event - but then again Kate has NEVER been charitable or giving.

Why did Kate not take the kids with her. They would of loved to watch the skaters. Because Kate thinks of only Kate, bet the bodyguard was with her. He gets more of her time then the kids do.

LOL, KATE EXPOSED. Kate stayed less than 5 minutes at this charity event. After "announcing" the next show, she took off with Steve to their "production trailer". HMMMMMM...

While Jon spent the entire day walking for his even, then auctioned off his skateboard signed by the kids.

It would be nice if Kate stopped spending money on a bodyguard she doesn't need and put it toward therapy for the kids and herself.

Kate does not think that she needs therapy, she refused to go last year when Jon asked her to go with work on their marriage,
