Mad Men, 30 Rock, Grey Gardens Dominate 61st Annual Primetime Emmys

Neil Patrick Harris opened the night with a rousing song and dance number, and the show went off seemingly without a hitch, even running within it's time schedule!

There were no big shockers of the night with Grey Gardens, 30 Rock and Mad Men taking the lead as expected.

There were tears and laughter in the acceptance speeches but most winners managed to keep it short and sweet.

30 Rock picked up three awards, for Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Actor and Outstanding Comedy Series.
Grey Gardens swept the board too with three awards, for Lead Actress, supporting Actor and Outstanding Made For TV Movie.
Jon Stewart picked up two awards for his Daily Show and in what was the least surprising award of the night, the critically acclaimed Mad Men won for Outstanding Drama.
