Kanye West Derails Taylor Swift's VMA Glory

For a girl like Taylor Swift, we imagine her worst VMA nightmare would be tripping in her Zanotti's or spilling cranberry juice on her dress.
Too bad she didn't anticipate Kanye West ruining her winning moment for Best Female Video.
The outspoken rapper stormed the stage when Taylor's name was announced (for her first Moonman) and grabbed the mic. He imparted that he was happy over her winning the trophy, "but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!"
Referring to her clip for "Single Ladies," West clearly felt Swift was undeserving of the prize.
A mortified Beyonce looked at West in disbelief, followed by a shocked Swift left standing on the podium, speechless and on the verge of tears.

I wasn't all that familiar w/ Taylor Swift before and all Kanye did was bring attention to her and now that I have listened to her music, watched her vids and read some things I think she's awesome and she gained some new fans tonight. Go Taylor!

I am so sick and tired of these male artists disrespecting women. Kanye, Emimen, Chris Brown to name a few. Like they said pre-show, this is the year of the ladies, lets keep supporting and celebrating the ladies and their amazing talents.
