Jon & Kate Take Another Ratings Dip

Is Jon Gosselin leaving an already sinking ship? The same week TLC announced his reduced role on the show (and his cut from the title), Jon & Kate Plus 8 took another dip in the ratings. RadarOnline.com has learned that Monday's show pulled in a mere 1.3 million viewers- a fall from last week's already low of 1.7 million.

A whopping 10.6 million viewers tuned in on this season's June 22 premiere when the Gosselins announced their separation. But since August 3, the
reality show has lost more than sixty percent of its viewers.
On Tuesday, the TLC president Eileen O'Neill released a statement regarding Jon's future limited involvement and the name change to "Kate Plus 8" saying: "Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family. The family has evolved and we are attempting to evolve with it; we feel that Kate's journey really resonates with our viewers."

I am a fan of Paula Dean product's, Her meals are awesome . But I tell ya, if she hooks up with Kate , I am afraid I am going to have to rethink her judge of Character or lack there of.

Why doesn't everyone one just get a clue , Viewership down from 10.6 to 1.3 It's over NOONE CARES( well except for their RABID fan hanger on'ers) . What a disgrace shame on you TLC

I know the Gosselins need money to support all those kids but honestly after being fan for years I no longer want to watch. I want themt o go away. TLC has a lot of other great shows I'd rather watch. J&K+8 just isn't what it once was.

TLC used to have a good rep as having good programming. I htink J&K+8 or even just Kate+8 , along with Toddlers & Tiaras needs to go. They have loving inspiring families like the Little People, the Little Couple, the Duggars etc that I'd rather see.

Watched an episode of Little People, Big World. Amy was an invited speaker to Cornell University. She travels w/o a body guard/entourage, greets everyone graciously, speaks from the heart, & treats everyone with kindness. Big difference from J&K.

True, they are amazing people. Thankfully for Amy and their family Matt has not done anything to disgrace or hurt his family like Jon has. The paps make great money off that clown.

I met Amy. She doesn't treat her fans like she's better than them. Kate's book signing was a horrible experience for a lot of fans.

Humm. Guess it's J's turn to assemble a team to strategically remake his damaged image. He is still the same father & a husband who made bad choices. Time will tell if J's team is successful.

Poor baby. Dumped again..exactly what he deserves. Kate will be better than fine without him as she has ambition and a good business sense. Jon is just a free-loader who is lazy and certainly not the brightest light bulb in the pack.

Kate is the one that is a free loader..With all her freebies..Only with the kids when TLC is filming. She is such a money **** monger. Kate +8 will be a huge bomb just like her appearance was with
