When President Obama called Kanye West a “Jackass” he thought it was off the record. Only problem, the comments were recorded and RadarOnline.com has the audio.

The remarks, in reference to Kanye hijacking Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the VMA’s on Sunday night quickly hit the internet thanks to ABC’s Terry Moran and Twitter. Moran heard the remarks before an interview with CNBC.

During the recording, Obama can be heard saying “where’s the pool.” Too late.

Kanye is already taking heat. Now the controversy, which West tried to end by apologizing on Jay Leno’s first episode Monday night, lives on with the President attached.

The president is correct Kanye West is a Jackass! He called it like it is! Just because Obama is president does not mean he cannot have his own opinion about matters.

PRESIDENT OBAMA IS ONE OF THE PEOPLE, YET SO FAR ABOVE POLITICIANS. HE CALLED IT LIKE HE SAW IT. (AND THE REST OF THIS COUNTRY AGREES WITH THE PRESIDENT). KANYE BROUGHT SHAME TO BLACK ARTISTS AND ALL HIP-HOP.
