Hayden Panettiere Is A New Puppy Mama

Hayden Panettiere took her new pup with her as she ran some errands Friday and she seemed reluctant to let the pooch's delicate feet touch Hollywood's mean (and dirty) streets. The pair hit up a nail salon - for Hayden, not the dog - and did some window shopping on Melrose Avenue.

Hayden may be more at ease letting her new companion run free on the sand in Malibu.

Last month she made that pooch walk with restaurant owner Harry Morton and his canine companion.

Hayden's Heroes returns for the new season September 21 with a special two-hour episode.
