EXCLUSIVE: Source - Redmond O'Neal Should Be Released From Jail & Moved To Residential Treatment

Redmond O'Neal -- the troubled son of actor Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett -- should be released from jail and into a residential treatment program, according to a source close to O'Neal who spoke exclusively with RadarOnline.com.
The source said: "Redmond has achieved as much progress as possible at the inmate rehab program, and it's time for him to be released to a residential treatment program."

The insider also tells us that a facility has been picked out in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California, where Redmond would continue to be treated by the same team that is working with him now.
O'Neal, 24, is currently in jail at Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, California and has been in an intensive inmate rehab program for several months now.

Tthis guy should stay put and take it like a man and grow up. He needs a reality check and I think this would be the best for him. He has along rode to hoe and being clean and staying clean is going to be a way of life for the rest of his life.

Boy, this guy has a long way to go. Trying to keep clean and dealing with the fact that he wasn't there for his mother when she needed him the most. Pull it together and do your Mom proud.
