“Dustin is way off the mark with this book. I had a great time working on the Bell and miss the cast. I do keep in touch with some of them, but not Dustin.”

Dustin implies pot smoking, sex and steroids on set of Saved By The Bell

It seems Ed isn’t the only one to not stay in contact with Diamond, he has been pretty much ostracized by the cast and crew alike. In fact, the cast reportedly asked he be left out of a recent People Magazine cover and other reunion-related festivities, due to being uncomfortable with their one-time colleague over his post-show antics, which have included: a "leaked" porn movie where the former child actor raves of his fondness for "poop" and multiple publicity stunts to raise money for his foreclosed-upon home.
