EXCLUSIVE: Kate Gosselin Not Slowing Divorce

Despite Jon Gosselin's public proclamation that he wants to slow down his divorce and improve his relationship with Kate, she has decided to go full speed ahead to legally dissolve their marriage, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

"Kate sees no reason to wait and drag this out," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. "She doesn't think Jon is being sincere in his comments. She thinks it's all a publicity stunt."

Jon said "I regret my conduct" on Tuesday in a press release that was promoting a magazine interview he gave. He also said, "I asked my attorney to put the brakes on this divorce so I could try to regain control over the future of our family. So Kate and I could join on a cooperative course that would benefit our family - not destroy it."

The only problem is, Kate's not buying it - at all.
She learned about Jon's "request" to slow the divorce the same way everyone else did - by reading about it on Tuesday in the press. And although one source says Jon had a letter with this information in it sent to Kate through an arbitrator, Kate never received or read it. "If he meant any of it, he could have easily told her in person or on the phone," the source told RadarOnline.com.

"Jon is trying to repair his public image," the source continued.

In fact, Jon will be appearing on Larry King Live. TLC announced on Tuesday they are severely minimizing his role on the show, even changing the title from Jon & Kate Plus 8 to Kate Plus 8.

Coolaroo, but the judge favored with Denise. I can't believe that. But having her daughters on the show didn't bring in viewers. The ratings kept declining and her show was cancelled.

The children film one day a week. The rest of the time they are just kids being kids. I think the new show idea is good. I want to see how a single mom goes about being mom and dad. I look forward to it.

You mean a single mom living in a fancy house, chauffeur driven, mani/pedi weekly, full time house staff to clean, and full time Nannies. YEAH! that sounds like it would really resonate with alot of single moms out there.

It's really a show about how nannies and hired help raise your family. No child should have their home be a stage set.

It is all about greed. Jon's .He acted childishly the last few weeks. He got fired by TLC and Kate wants to distance herself from Jon's antics. FInish the divorce. Bring closure to everyone.

Tis is all publicity. Why does Jon want to slow the divorce when he has no intentions of getting back together with Kate. He says he loves Hailey - this is all for money and greed.

Maybe I'm not as smart as Kate (sarcasm dripping) but it doesn't seem a good idea for the children to hear the name change of the show. Just another way of cutting out their father. TLC says Jon will still be around, though less, so why the need?

sorry momof4, I see 8 has us mixed together . I do not post here very often , I just found her grammar and punctuation atrocious and pointed it out .I can't make sense of anything she type's.
