EXCLUSIVE: Jon Wants To End War With Kate

Jon and Kate Gosselin’s breakup has been chronicled through every sort of media. As their divorce nears, Jon is hoping the couple can soon start “working towards communicating better and being amicable” a friend tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Though Jon had some pretty strong words for his estranged wife during a recent TV interview (even saying he despises her), a friend explains that the father of eight didn’t necessarily mean what he said and wants to move on. “He was emotional, it doesn’t mean that was reality. Its been a tough situation. They’ve both said regrettable things and now he wants them to try and work together since that is what is best for their kids.”

Regardless of what happens in the future, Jon will “always respect Kate” says the friend. “She will always be the mother of his children.”

I'm guessing that Kate told Jon she wouldn't take care of the dogs during her turn with the kids so he didn't have a choice but to get rid of them. Again...just guessing here...but this would be in line with her character. Sorry to have to say it.

she could have DIED giving birth in the name of christianity. What has hailey done worth dying for?? Jon is a s**** bucket. He should never love anyone more in this world than the woman who sacrificed everything for his kids

By the way, everyone makes mistakes, it may even be that Kate regrets how she spoke to Jon. People can change, not to mention 30-32 is still relatively young. At least Kate is showing some maturity about this whole situation.

When did Kate say ANYTHING negative about Jon? I used to dislike Kate, but Jon's behavior has been the worst of any person I've ever known. No wonder, Kate called him a LameFish...lol I'd call him worse

Good for Jon. Kate being the shrew that she is you know darn good and well she is doing whatever she can to hide funds and lord knows what else. He MUST protect himself. She is volatile.

Hey Jon, I don't think the war has started yet just the battle. When Kate's attorney gets you in court in regards to custody and finances that's when the war starts and I think you gonna lose due to YOUR actions!!

This story is a blantant lie. Jon hired attorney Mark Heller today. He is an immoral volture who takes cases of lowlifes such as hookers & madames. He will start planting stories to destroy Kate today in effort to destroy her and get his way.
