EXCLUSIVE: Jen Aniston and Gerard Butler's Friendly Date

Hollywood golden girl Jennifer Aniston and The Ugly Truth hunk Gerard Butler stepped out for dinner together Wednesday, continuing to fuel rumors that they are a couple.
Eschewing her traditional Hollywood fave the Sunset Tower, Jennifer had her assistant book the reservation early in the day at Cliff's Edge, a restaurant in the hipster neighborhood Silverlake in Los Angeles and she arrived for dinner with Gerard and four other friends.
"They enjoyed a friendly dinner with each other," the restaurant manager exclusively told RadarOnline.com. Tucked away in the corner of the outdoor patio, the co-stars were overheard discussing the swarm of paparazzi that were outside the restaurant waiting to get a photo of the couple together.
"Jennifer is so lovely, and she and Gerard were not holding hands and I didn't think they were a couple, just friends having dinner together," said the manager. As always, the trim and toned actress dined on her favorite food -- salad -- while the rest of the group sampled the specials of the night.
Jennifer and Gerard have been spending time together off set and RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that the two were stealing kisses between takes while on the set of The Bounty in New York.
Disappointing photographers, Gerard and Jennifer left the restaurant separately. Jennifer's next movie, Love Happens, a rom-com starring Aaron Eckhart hits theaters September 18.
