EXCLUSIVE: Hair Stylist Explains Kate Gosselin’s New Do

Leaving her signature smooth hairstyle behind, Kate Gosselin sported a short, wavy hairdo on her second day of hosting The View.
Emmy Award-winning hair stylist Lavette Slater (who gives host Sherri Shepherd all those fabulous looks) was responsible for creating Kate’s new look.

“Kate is a beautiful woman and I wanted to expand on her already famous locks and try something new, fun and whimsical, Slater tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Kate was excited and gave me carte blanche to experiment and create a new look. As a mother of 8 children, you don’t always have time to style your hair and this was the perfect opportunity to show a different look for Kate.”

Kate looks great and she has a full plate. Beats Hellllllle by far. Hellllllllle has no one to take care of except herself and she looks like something the dogs drugggggggg in.

Karma IS "rearing" as you say - Kate's got a 3rd day on the View and a pilot show planned. Working hard for her family. Jon's got a kook saying he wanted to kill himself. Oh and he'll be appearing at the fence all week.
