Elton John Wants To Adopt – Says Orphan Has “Stolen My Heart”

Elton John may be following in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie and adopting an orphan from a war-torn country.

The singer and his partner David Furnish visited a Ukrainian orphanage September 12, and one little boy named Levi may be soon becoming part of their family, “David has always wanted to adopt a child and I always said ‘no’ because I am 62 and I think because of the traveling I do and the life I have maybe it wouldn’t be fair for the child,” Elton told reporters accompanying him on his mission for his Elton John AIDS Foundation.
“But I have seen Levi today. I would love to adopt him. I don’t know how we do that but he has stolen my heart. And he has stolen David’s heart and it would be wonderful if we can have a home. I’ve changed my mind today.”
Elton’s appearance at the orphanage, where he performed for the kids, came on the same day that Jolie visited the world’s worst refugee camp in Kenya where she tried to comfort starving children and their mothers.

Also, Levi would be SO GOOD for Elton and David. Children give you a different, deeper perception at life; more of a "Don't sweat the small things". I say, GO FOR IT ELTON AND DAVID!!! You will wonder why you didn't adopt earlier.

WOW, you can tell Levi has stolen Elton's heart. The baby looks so happy with Elton!!! :)
That precious baby needs a home!! Levi would have a wonderful life. He would be loved by his parents.

love, safety and a happy enviroment are what a child requires....Unfortunately, a parents preference does not determine this....perhaps we should care more about the person's ability to provide a loving home.

A 62 year old gay man who travels all the time would make a great dad! I love celebrities who "BUY" babies from foreign countries and then have nannies raise them!

I have respect for all children of the world - I do not believe in two men who are sexually attracted to men being allowed to adopt children.
