VIDEO: Tense Reunion as Jon & Kate Send Sextuplets Off To First Day Of School

It looked like there was tension in the air as Jon and Kate Gosselin reunited for a second day -- once again, for the sake of the kids.

The estranged couple were seen together Friday morning taking their sextuplets to the bus stop in Reading, PA. for their first day of school.
In one pic, Jon and Kate appear to look agitated at each other.
The sextuplets will be in junior kindergarten only three days a week this school year; next year, they'll go five days a week.
While Kate hopped on board the bus to kiss her kids a final goodbye, Jon waved from outside.
Kate’s bodyguard and close friend Steve Neild was on hand to watch the kids get onto their bus.
On Thursday morning, the bickering couple came together for the first time in a few days to send their 9-year-old twins, Cara and Mady, off for the first day of school, where they’re entering the third grade.
Jon and Kate have certainly had a strange week: from Kate calling the cops on Jon to her whirlwind media blitz to Jon’s black eye.
As RadarOnline.com reported exclusively on August 13th, Jon and Kate's divorce will be legally official by the end of September.
It's not clear how their divorce will impact their reality show.
Jon & Kate Plus 8 airs 9/8c Mondays on TLC.

2 seconds for your kids to get on the bus? Including the very 1st day of going to school for the very 1st time? IT WAS THE 1st DAY OF SCHOOL! SO WHAT She gave them some love! John was daydreaming about that dog face Hailey!

Good thing they are going to private school. I'm sure Kate hopes they go to Bowling Green Univ. just like Eileen P. O'neill (head of TLC) did so they can become greedy homewreckers just like Eileen.

whether Kate puts her kids on the school bus or drive them herself the stalkaratzzi's will just follow her in the car & then the would at least TRY to block parts of the school ground to get their shots!

nothing like ruining the first day of school, to disespect a woman and mother who has absolutely showed no signs of irresponsible behavior. they could let this family have private time you ****... the kids are worth millions so she is precautious.

Is 'precautious' a word? Many child experts, including myself, would agree that a responsible parent would not expose their children to "icky p-people" and would take all precautions to shelter them in a PRIVATE car when transporting them.

how dare that reporter ask kate if it was necessary for steve to come along and were they together. what an absolute balless remark. do they ask jon about the sitter he slept wih why she is at the house with her kids sitting?

The dude was just doing his job. Unfortunately in this country, when you put yourself 'out there'...you put yourself 'out there' and unfortunately in the state of Pa...it's okay to put your kids 'out there' too. Sad.

It is also time for the local officials to forbid the paps from blocking the roads in front of the Gosselin house. Neighbors are finally banning together to see what they can legally do. They are sick of the paps and of Jon.
