VIDEO: Kate Gosselin On Her Marriage Meltdown: "It’s Not Ideal”

Kate Gosselin suggested reconciliation between her and husband Jon was unlikely on an appearance of Live With Regis and Kelly Thursday.
Meddling Regis tried to play relationship counselor to the 34-year-old reality TV mom, as he said he felt the marriage was salvageable -- she disagreed.
"We definitely have different goals at this point; a lot has changed. A lot of unexpected things have come up. It’s not ideal. And I can’t say you’re right at all,” she said.
Experienced interviewer Philbin then went the different route, asking Kate, hypothetically, if Jon attempted to salvage the marriage, if Kate would be willing.
“I don’t think I can answer that,” she said. "A lot of our lives is public, but a lot is private, as well.”
She discussed how life was like since the Pennsylvania clan took over the tabloids faster than you can say Lindsay Lohan. She said she now turns all the covers over on the gossip mags whenever she goes into the grocery store, and has even had to explain to the children why cameramen are always snapping away at them.
She said it was weird to hear one of her 5-year-olds exclaim: "There's the paparazzi!!!"

KATE IS GREAT - Stay strong Kate! You are better off without that LOSER BOY. His loss on all fronts. Watching him implode is prety pathetic -- shield your klids and yourself adn things WILL GET better!

Since Kate is making the rounds of the talk show circuit with her pity party TLC must recognize that people were happier watching the show when it was supposedly about the kids, even though it's always been about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The fact that there are only two pages of posting regarding this interview makes me think that the interest in this debacle is wanning. Please give the kids a normal life.

It is a lot easier going through a divorce when you have nannies, cooks and other help. That couple of million in the bank takes away a lot of the pain.

Kate is the winner in all of this.. she'll be RID of the drunken loser, Jon, have control of the Kate/8 show. be able to retain the house in PA,she gets the kids most of the time, and has control over most of the finances. Jon could be fired.
