VIDEO: Jon Goes School Supply Shopping With The Twins

After estranged wife Kate played up being the strong mom on morning talk shows, Jon Gosselin publicly stepped up his parenting on Thursday. Earlier in the day he ran errands with one of the sextuplet girls Leah and wrapped up the day with school supply shopping with twins Cara and Mady.

After picking up some school binders at a local Staples, the trio stopped in at Starbucks for a treat. Earlier in the day as the rain sprinkled down, Jon took Leah to the pediatrician, keeping her dry with an umbrella.

Thursday morning, Kate nixed any reconciliation rumors during a pre-taped interview on Live with Regis & Kelly. She looked clearly upset after Philbin pushed the idea of a possible reunion between her and Jon.

Mady was about to step on and break his sunglasses. Kate talks on her cell phone all the time. Get off the guy's back. He's devoted to the kids and they love him dearly. Give the guy a freakin' break!

He complains that Maddie touched his sunglasses as she is getting in his BMW. He talks on his cell phone while walking them across the street. He is a HORRIBLE FATHER.

AT LEAST JON IS SPENDING TIME DOING THINGS WITH THE KIDS AND JUST HIM. NOT LIKE KATE, A BODYGUARD-BOYFRIEND, NANNIES. SHE NEEDS HELP SHE CAN'T DO IT HERSELF WHAT DOES THAT SAY

yeah, Jon does it all alone. I guess he left the 6 at home by themselves while he took the twins shopping.

you obviously missed the recent pics. of Kate taking the kids to the dentist and doctor, ALONE. And just this week there were pics. of Jon AT HOME with "the babysitter" and a nanny.
