Taylor's Idols: Brad Pitt and Matt Damon

New Moon's Taylor Lautner is ready to flex more than his muscles. The young actor would like to show off his acting chops by going up against the industry's heavy hitters.

“I really look up to Denzel Washington as an actor. I’d love to do a film with him one day in the future," he told the magazine. "That would be my dream come true. And I love the action-drama films like Matt Damon and Brad Pitt do.”
Despite setting teen hearts fluttering in the Twilight series, Lautner keeps a grounded perspective on his new-found fame.
“I think fans would love anybody who played Jacob. I’m just lucky to be the one who got the chance.”
And what about that summer romance with Selena Gomez? Lautner stayed a gentleman and kept the details slim, only offering: "She's a great girl."

He did not say Brad Pitt or Matt Damon were his idol's. He said, he looks up to Denzel Washington as an actor and would like to do action films like Matt or Brad. There is big difference. Brad as an idol, puke.

I don't know Taylor but what I've seen and heard from him tells me he's a great kid. There is no place for Taylor to go but UP. I bet he'd be good in the action films. I would like to see him with Matt and Brad. It would be greAT.
